RULE: words ending in _ _ 'ic'

| vowel suffixes that start with: 'e', 'i', or 'y' | ||||
vowel suffix endings: 'er', 'ed', 'ing', 'y' add the letter 'k'
This is to maintain the hard ( c ♪ ) or ( k ♪ ) sound. Otherwise it will turn into an ( s ♪ ) sound.

Words ending in _'ic' add _'ally'
